On May 9th, 2009 Pam Pallette, Geoff Rogers, and Mike McClintock hiked down to Three Sisters Falls, one of the most beautiful spots in San Diego's back county. It is about 1000 ft drop and a total of approximately 2 miles down to the falls and about half mile to the upper falls with lots of scrambling. Tough climb out. Weather coming out was in the 90s.
Several American Dippers had been reported there with fledglings in May 2007. None were found on this trip.
